when I go to "icloud" on my laptop and access my photos there I am able to delete photos and videos and they are automatically also deleted from my iphone6s, which is what I want. they are not, however, being deleted from my ipad air. all settings are the same on my ipad and IPhone. why not? and how do I fix this so that they are also auto deleted form ipad?

Try either logging out of your iCloud account on the iPad or toggling iCloud Photo Library on/off on the iPad.

Another suggestion would be to reset the iPad -- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
well......I toggled out of icloud photos on my ipad then went to photos and all of my photos were being deleted before my eyes.....so I toggled back in and they began restoring on ipad AND iPhone! why did they go back onto iPhone?the few photos and videos that I had deleted on computer earlier and that automatically deleted on iPhone earlier are now back on iPhone.....what am I doing wrong? I guess whether anyone can help (hopefully!) or not, I can wait til they all get back on ipad (probably at least an hour or more...) and then go back to photos section in icloud on laptop and try deleting a few again and see if they delete from both devices then. any help is still appreciated : )
